Biography

Born in Padua, Veneto, Bortolotto started his career at Calcio Padova, then joined A.C. Milan youth team. In 2002-03 season, he played his first Serie A match, the third last match of the season before 2003 UEFA Champions League Final and 2003 Coppa Italia Final. That match Milan rested almost all the regular starter and used 11 Primavera Team player on the field and on the bench. Bortolotto replaced Alessandro Matri in the 71st minutes. That match Milan 2-4 lost to Piacenza.[2]

In summer 2004, he joined Serie C2 side Biellese. In the next season, he was signed by Chievo in co-ownership deal. But in June 2007, neither club wish to bought him outright and Biellese was relegated. He then left for Serie D side Tritium, re-joined his brother Enrico Bortolotto. In June 2010, he won Serie D Group B champion, and promoted to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione.

International career

Bortolotto was capped for Italy U19 at 2004 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship qualification.
